Car
If you are driving from central Hyuga, take Route 10 heading southeast. Follow the signs towards Hososhima and continue for about 10 kilometers. As you approach Hososhima, look for signs for Skeluccha Viewing Deck. You will need to turn left onto a smaller road that leads directly to the viewing deck. There is a parking area available near the deck, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
Start at Hyuga Station. Take a local bus heading towards Hososhima. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Hososhima' bus stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Skeluccha Viewing Deck. Head southeast on the main road until you reach the intersection, then follow the signs to the viewing deck. Please check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service may vary.
Walking
If you are already in Hososhima, you can walk to the Skeluccha Viewing Deck. Head southeast on the main street towards the coast. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the viewing deck. The path is well-marked with signs, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way. This walk will take approximately 20 minutes.
