If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Hyuga. Head south on Route 10 and follow the signs for Hososhima. After approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive in the Hososhima area. Look for signs directing you to The Sea Cross, which is located near the coastline. You can park in the nearby public parking areas, which are usually free or have a nominal fee.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin at Hyuga Station. Take the Nishi-Nippon Railroad (Nishitetsu) towards Hososhima Station. The journey should take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Hososhima Station, exit the station and look for local buses heading towards the coast. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to The Sea Cross, which is well-signposted. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the scenic spot.
