Getting There

    From your location in Ise Shima, head south on Route 42. Follow the signs towards Minamichita. Continue on Route 42 until you reach the intersection with Route 247. Turn left onto Route 247 and follow it to the coast. At the end of Route 247, turn right onto Himakajima ferry terminal. Park your car in the designated parking area (parking fees may apply). Take the ferry to Himakajima Island, which takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Himakajima, follow the signs to Sunrise Beach, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal.

    Start at the nearest train station, such as Iseshi Station. Take the Kintetsu Line to Toba Station. From Toba Station, transfer to the Toba Ferry and take the ferry to Himakajima Island. The ferry journey takes about 30 minutes. After disembarking at Himakajima, follow the signs to Sunrise Beach, which is about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
