Car

If you are driving from Iyo, take the Matsuyama Expressway heading towards Kyoto. Follow the expressway for approximately 2 hours until you reach the junction for the Kyoto area. Take the exit onto National Route 1 towards Kyoto and continue for about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kyoto, follow the signs to Fushimi Inari Taisha. There is parking available near the shrine, but it may be limited, especially during peak tourist seasons. Expect to pay around 500-1000 yen for parking.

Public Transportation

To reach Fushimi Inari Taisha by public transport from Iyo, first take a train from Iyo to Matsuyama Station. From Matsuyama Station, take the Shikoku Railway Line to Okayama Station. At Okayama Station, transfer to the Sanyo Shinkansen (bullet train) towards Kyoto. After arriving at Kyoto Station, switch to the JR Nara Line and take a train to Inari Station. Fushimi Inari Taisha is just a short walk from Inari Station, taking about 5 minutes. The total cost for this journey will be approximately 6000-8000 yen depending on the type of train you choose.
