If you are driving from Izu, head southeast on Route 135. Follow the signs towards Shimoda. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will reach Shimoda city. Once in Shimoda, continue on Route 135 towards Touji. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Ryugu Sea Cave (Ryugu Kutsu). There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your car. From Izu, take a train to Shimoda Station via the Izukyu Line. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Shimoda Station, exit the station and find the bus stop for the Izu Bus.
