Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto Route 1 (also known as the Tōmei Expressway) heading towards Fujinomiya. After approximately 35 kilometers, take the exit towards Fujinomiya and merge onto Route 139. Continue straight for about 6 kilometers until you reach Kitayama. Look for signs indicating Kyakuden, which is located at 4965-1 Kitayama, Fujinomiya, Shizuoka 418-0112. There is parking available near the temple.

    For those using public transportation, take a train from Izu to Fujinomiya Station. Upon arrival at Fujinomiya Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal nearby. Board the Fujikyu Bus heading towards Kitayama. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Kyakuden' bus stop, which is just a short walk from the temple located at 4965-1 Kitayama. Follow the signs to reach the temple entrance.
