Getting There

Car
From Izu City, head north on Route 1. Continue on Route 1 for about 30 kilometers until you reach Shimizu Ward in Shizuoka. Take the exit towards Shimizu and merge onto Route 149. After about 5 kilometers, turn left onto Zo Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Ryugenji on your right at 114 Zo.

From Izu City, take the JR Tokaido Line train at Izu Kogen Station heading toward Shizuoka Station. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer to the JR Shimizu Line at Shizuoka Station and take the train towards Shimizu Station. Once at Shimizu Station, exit the station and take Bus No. 45 towards Zo. Get off at the Zo stop, and Ryugenji will be a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop, located at 114 Zo.
