If you are driving from the center of Izumo, head southwest on Route 9. Continue on Route 9 for approximately 5 km until you reach a traffic light. Turn left onto Bessho Street (Besshocho) and drive for about 1.5 km. You will see Gakuenji Temple on your right at the address 148 Besshocho, Izumo, Shimane 691-0022. There is parking available at the temple.

To reach Gakuenji Temple using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the Izumo City Bus Terminal. Look for a bus heading towards Bessho Onsen. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes.
