Car

From central Kai, head east on Route 20 toward Kofu. Continue on Route 20 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 139. Merge onto Route 139 and follow the signs to Tokyo. After about 60 kilometers, take the exit towards the Shinjuku area. Merge onto Shuto Expressway and follow the signs for Sumida City. Take the exit at Yokoami. Once you exit, follow Yokoami Street, and the Great Kanto Earthquake Memorial Museum will be on your left at 2 Chome-3-25 Yokoami. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation

From Kai Station, take the JR Chuo Line train towards Tokyo. After approximately 70 minutes, transfer at Tokyo Station to the JR Sobu Line. Board a train to Ryogoku Station, which takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Ryogoku Station, exit the station and walk east on Yokoami Street for about 10 minutes.
