Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Kai. Head southeast on Route 20 (Chuo Expressway) towards Tokyo. Merge onto Route 16 and continue driving for approximately 30 km. Take the exit toward Zenpukuji from Route 16. Follow the signs for Zenpukuji, and then turn left onto Zenpukuji 1 Chome. After about 500 meters, you will see Igusa Hachimangu Shrine on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Igusa Hachimangu Shrine using public transport, start at the nearest train station in Kai. Take the JR Chuo Line train heading towards Tokyo. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at Suginami Station. From Suginami Station, take the Keio Inokashira Line to the next stop, Zenpukuji Station. Once you exit the station, head southwest on Zenpukuji 1 Chome for about 10 minutes. You will find Igusa Hachimangu Shrine on your left.
