Getting There

Car
From central Kai, head southeast on Route 20 (Chuo Expressway) towards Tokyo. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach Chofu. Take the Chofu exit and follow the signs for Jindaiji Motomachi. Once you are on Jindaiji Motomachi, drive straight for about 2 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Jindai Botanical Gardens on your left. There is ample parking available for visitors.

Public Transportation
From Kai Station, take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. After about 35 minutes, transfer at Shinjuku Station to the Keio Line. Take the Keio Line express train towards Chofu Station. The journey will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Chofu Station, exit the station and take bus number 34 (Jindaiji) from the bus terminal. It will take approximately 10 minutes to reach the Jindai Botanical Gardens stop. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes to the entrance of the gardens.
