If you're driving from central Kai, head southwest on Route 20 (Kōfu Bypass) towards Kofu. After approximately 15 minutes, take the exit towards Kōfu/Takeda Shrine. Follow the signs for Kōfu and merge onto Route 140. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the vicinity of the burial mound, which is located at the address Kofu, Yamanashi 400-1508. There is parking available near the site.

To reach Kai Choushizuka Burial Mound via public transport, start at Kai Station. Take the JR Chuo Main Line towards Kofu Station (approximately 5 minutes). At Kofu Station, transfer to the Yamanashi Chuo Railway and take a train towards Takeda Shrine Station (about 15 minutes). Once you arrive at Takeda Shrine Station, exit the station and walk approximately 1 kilometer (about 15 minutes) to the burial mound. Follow the signs or use a map application for precise directions.
