Getting There

    From Kai, head towards Route 139 and take it south towards Kofu. After approximately 30 minutes, merge onto the Chuo Expressway (E20) towards Nagoya. Continue on the Chuo Expressway for about 1.5 hours until you reach the exit for the Tomei Expressway (E1). Take the Tomei Expressway and follow signs for Shizuoka. Continue for about 2 hours until you reach the exit for the Shimizu area. Follow local roads to Shimizu Port. From Shimizu Port, you will need to take a ferry to Yoron Island. The ferry ride takes about 1.5 hours and costs around ¥3,000. Upon arriving at Yoron, follow local signs or GPS to Shina Beach (Sinapa), which is located approximately a 10-minute drive from the port.

    From Kai, take a train from Kofu Station to Shimizu Station. The journey will take about 2 hours with a transfer at Shizuoka Station.
