Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving in Kai, head east on Route 20 towards the city of Toride. Continue on Route 20 for approximately 15 km until you reach the intersection with Route 294. Turn right onto Route 294 and continue straight for about 5 km. You will see signs for Yasaka Shrine as you approach Toride. Once you enter Toride, look for 1 Chome-2-9 Higashi, where the shrine is located. There is parking available near the shrine.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Yasaka Shrine via public transportation, take the train from Kai Station to Toride Station. Board the JR Joban Line and it will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Toride Station, exit the station and head east. You can either walk (around 15 minutes) or take a local bus. If walking, follow the signs to Route 294, and then turn left onto 1 Chome Higashi. Yasaka Shrine will be on your right at 1 Chome-2-9.
