Getting There

    If you are starting from Kanazawa Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. Follow the signs to the Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle. You will walk straight along the main road (Kakusen Street) for about 15-20 minutes. As you walk, look for the large green park area; this is the Kenrokuen Garden. Once you reach the entrance of the garden, Kanazawa Castle Ruins will be directly adjacent to the garden. You can enter the castle area from the main gates.

    From Kanazawa Station, take the Kanazawa Loop Bus (also known as the 'Rakuraku Bus') and board the bus heading towards Kenrokuen. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the Kenrokuen stop. From there, walk towards the Kenrokuen Garden entrance, and Kanazawa Castle Ruins will be right next to it. The bus runs frequently, so you won't have to wait long.
