Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Kanazawa Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. From there, follow the signs for Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle Park. This walk will take approximately 30 minutes. As you leave the station, you will walk straight down the main road (Higashi Chaya Street) until you reach the entrance of Kenrokuen Garden. Continue past the garden, and you will see the Kanazawa Castle Park entrance. Hishi Yagura is located within Kanazawa Castle Park, towards the western side of the park.

Public Transport
From Kanazawa Station, take the Kanazawa Loop Bus (right outside the station). Board the bus and get off at the 'Kanazawa Castle' stop. This ride takes about 10 minutes. After getting off, walk through the park entrance, and follow signs leading to Hishi Yagura, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, located towards the western section of the castle grounds.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Kanazawa Station. Head towards Kenrokuen Garden, and then follow the path that leads to Kanazawa Castle Park. The ride should take about 15 minutes. Once you are within the park, follow the directional signs to Hishi Yagura, which is located on the western side of the grounds.
