Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Tokyo. Take the Tohoku Expressway (東北自動車道) towards Utsunomiya. After about 100 km, take the exit for Nikko (日光). Follow the signs for Nikko city and continue along Route 120. Once in Nikko, follow Route 119 towards the Unryu Keikoku Falls. There is parking available near the falls, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee, typically around 500 yen.
Train and Bus
For those using public transportation, take the Tobu Nikko Line from Asakusa Station in Tokyo to Tobu Nikko Station. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at Tobu Nikko Station, transfer to a local bus heading towards 'Yutaki' or 'Unryu Keikoku Falls.' The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary, especially on weekends. The bus fare is around 800 yen one-way.
Walking
Once you arrive at the bus stop for Unryu Keikoku Falls, you will need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the falls. Follow the paved path leading through the forest, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The walk is relatively easy and well-marked.
