Public Transportation
If you're starting from Nikko Station, take the Tobu Bus bound for 'Toshogu Shrine' or 'Yumoto Onsen'. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at 'Toshogu Shrine' stop. From there, walk towards the shrine entrance and you will find Rin’nōji Yakushi-do located within the Toshogu Shrine complex. It is just a short 5-minute walk through the shrine grounds.

If you're driving, head towards the Toshogu Shrine area. From central Nikko, take Route 120, then turn onto Route 14. Follow the signs for Toshogu Shrine. There is parking available near the shrine complex, but please note that there may be a parking fee. After parking, walk to the shrine entrance, and Rin’nōji Yakushi-do is located a short 5-minute walk within the shrine grounds.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops near Nikko Station. Follow the same route as mentioned for cars. Cycling to Toshogu Shrine will take about 20 minutes.
