Public Transportation
From Shinjuku Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (green line) towards Shibuya. After two stops, get off at Harajuku Station. From Harajuku Station, use the Omotesando Exit. The entrance to Meiji Jingu is a short 10-minute walk. Follow the signs to the Meiji Jingu entrance, which is located near the pedestrian bridge.
Public Transportation
If you are starting from Tokyo Station, take the JR Chuo Line (rapid) towards Shinjuku. Transfer at Shinjuku Station to the JR Yamanote Line towards Shibuya. After two stops, get off at Harajuku Station. Exit through Omotesando Exit and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the entrance of Meiji Jingu.
Car
If you are driving, navigate to 1-1 Yoyogikamizonocho, Shibuya City, Tokyo 151-8557. There is limited parking available near the shrine, so it is advisable to arrive early. After parking, walk towards the entrance which is a short distance from the parking area. Be aware of local traffic regulations and possible tolls on expressways.
Public Transportation
From the popular district of Shibuya, you can take the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line from Shibuya Station to Meiji Jingu-Mae Station. This is the closest subway station to the shrine. After getting off at Meiji Jingu-Mae Station, take Exit 2, and you will find the entrance to Meiji Jingu just a few minutes away.
