The walk from the station to the main park area is less than 5 minutes. From other nearby locations such as Ameya Yokocho market or Keisei Ueno Station, follow the signs for Ueno Park; it's a short walk.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Tokyo. A taxi from Tokyo Station to Ueno Park typically takes 15 minutes and costs between ¥2,400 and ¥3,000. A 5km ride in Ueno Park costs about 2620 JPY. Taxi stands are located outside JR Ueno Station and Keisei Ueno Station. Using a ride-hailing app is also recommended.
