If you are driving from central Kawachi, head northeast on Route 6. Merge onto the Joban Expressway (E6) heading towards Moriya. Take the exit towards Moriya and continue on local roads for about 10 minutes until you reach Meiji Shrine, located at Moriya, Ibaraki 302-0115. There is parking available near the shrine, which may incur a small fee of approximately 500 yen.

Public Transportation
To reach Meiji Shrine using public transport, start by heading to the nearest train station in Kawachi. Take the Tsukuba Express Line from Kawachi Station to Moriya Station. The journey takes about 20 minutes and costs around 320 yen. Upon arriving at Moriya Station, exit the station and take bus number 4 towards Moriya City Hall. Get off at the Meiji Shrine bus stop, which is a short walk from the shrine entrance.
