If you're driving from central Kawachi, head northwest on Route 6. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit towards Ushiku on the Joban Expressway (E6). Continue on the expressway for about 10 kilometers, then take the Ushiku exit. Follow the signs for Ushiku Daibutsu, which will lead you to Kunocho. The address is 2083 Kunocho, Ushiku, Ibaraki 300-1288. There is a parking fee of around 500 yen at the site.

Public Transportation
From Kawachi Station, take the JR Joban Line towards Toride Station. After about 30 minutes, get off at Ushiku Station. From Ushiku Station, you can catch a local bus bound for Ushiku Daibutsu, which takes approximately 15 minutes. The bus fare is around 200 yen. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Ushiku Station, which will cost about 1,500 yen and take around 10 minutes.
