If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kawachi and head northeast on Route 6. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 125. Take the exit onto Route 125 and follow the signs toward Ushiku. After about 8 kilometers, you will reach Ushiku. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Unkokuji. The temple is located at '2528 Katsuracho, Ushiku, Ibaraki 300-1281', which should be easily visible on your GPS or navigation app. Parking is available near the temple.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a train from Kawachi Station to Ushiku Station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ushiku Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop for local buses. Take the bus number that heads towards Katsuracho. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. You will need to get off at the Katsuracho stop, which is the closest stop to Unkokuji. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the temple. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
