Getting There

    If you are driving to Kumano Kodo Park, you can use the following directions. Start from the center of Kumano Kodo and head south on Route 42. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 168. Take a right turn onto Route 168 and follow the signs for Hidaka. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will see signs for Kumano Kodo Park. The park is located at Haradani, Hidaka, Hidaka District, Wakayama 649-1201. Please note there is no parking fee at the park.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Kumano Kodo Park by public transportation, first make your way to the nearest train station, which is the Kumanoshi Station. From Kumanoshi Station, take the JR Kisei Line towards Shingu and get off at the Hidaka Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes and costs approximately 700 yen. Once you arrive at Hidaka Station, you can take a local bus (look for the bus heading towards Haradani) which will take you directly to Kumano Kodo Park. The bus ride lasts about 20 minutes and costs around 300 yen.
