Getting There

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 203 or 17. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Shimogamo Shrine' stop. From there, walk north for about 5 minutes along the road. You will find Kamogawa Delta on your left side, just past the shrine.

  • Train and Walk

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Tofukuji Station (about 5 minutes). Transfer to the Keihan Main Line and take the train to Demachiyanagi Station (about 10 minutes). Once you arrive, exit the station and head north along the Kamo River for approximately 15 minutes. Kamogawa Delta will be on your right as you approach.

  • Bicycle Rental

    Find a bicycle rental shop near your accommodation. Once you have a bike, head towards the Kamo River. Ride north along the riverbank. It will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace. You will reach Kamogawa Delta, a scenic spot along the river, where you can enjoy the view.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the northern part of Kyoto, you can walk to Kamogawa Delta. From the intersection of Kitayama Street and Shirakawa Street, head east along Shirakawa Street until you reach the Kamo River. Turn north and follow the river for about 15 minutes. Kamogawa Delta will be on your left.
