    Getting There

    Bus

    To reach Kiyomizu-dera by bus, start at Kyoto Station. Take Bus No. 100 or 206 from the bus terminal outside the station. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Kiyomizu-michi stop. From there, follow the signs leading to Kiyomizu-dera, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill.

    Train + Walk

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Tofukuji Station (about 5 minutes). Transfer to the Keihan Main Line and travel to Kiyomizu-Gojo Station (approximately 10 minutes). Once you arrive at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station, take Exit 1 and walk straight for about 15 minutes. Follow the signs towards Kiyomizu-dera, which is slightly uphill.

    Taxi
