From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus #101 or #205. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Disembark at the 'Kinkaku-ji' stop. Once you get off, you will see signs directing you to Kinkaku-ji, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
