From Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Line to Osaka Station. This journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Osaka Station, transfer to the Hankyu Takarazuka Line and take the train towards Takarazuka. Get off at Toyonaka Station, which is approximately 20 minutes away. After exiting Toyonaka Station, take the East exit and walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Hattoriryokuchi Park. The Open Air Museum of Old Japanese Farm Houses is located within the park.

From Kyoto Station, board a bus bound for Osaka Station. The journey takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, you can switch to the Hankyu Takarazuka Line. Take the train to Toyonaka Station, which takes about 20 minutes. After getting off at Toyonaka Station, use the East exit and walk for approximately 15 minutes towards Hattoriryokuchi Park. The museum is situated inside the park.
