Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus No. 203 or No. 100. Get off at the Rengeji Temple bus stop (Rengeji-michi). The ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you get off, walk about 5 minutes north along the road until you reach the temple entrance.

Take the Kyoto Subway Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station to Kokusaikaikan Station. Transfer to the Kyoto Bus No. 204 or No. 100 at the station. Get off at the Rengeji Temple bus stop (Rengeji-michi). After you disembark, walk about 5 minutes north to reach the temple.

If you are near the Kyoto Imperial Palace, you can walk to Rengeji Temple. Head east towards Marutamachi Street, then turn left onto the street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Takano Road, then turn right. Walk straight for about 30 minutes, and you will see the temple on your left.
