Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Biwako Line (also known as the JR Kosei Line) towards Maibara. This train departs from platforms 31-34. Stay on the train for about 25 minutes and get off at Moriyama Station. Once you arrive at Moriyama Station, exit the station and look for bus stop 3. Board the Shiga Kotsu Bus bound for Sagawa Art Museum. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes.

Alternatively, from Kyoto Station, you can take a direct bus operated by the Shiga Kotsu Bus Company. Look for the bus bound for Moriyama and get on. The journey will take about 50 minutes. Once you reach the Moriyama area, ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Sagawa Art Museum. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop.

Combination of Train and Walking
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Biwako Line towards Maibara as described earlier. After getting off at Moriyama Station, instead of taking the bus, you can walk to Sagawa Art Museum. It's about a 25-minute walk, and you can enjoy the local scenery along the way. Exit the station, head north on Route 161, then turn right onto Mizuhocho. Continue walking straight until you see the museum on your right.
