Getting There

Train
If you are in Kyoto, take the JR Nara Line from Kyoto Station towards Nara. Get off at Uji Station. Once you arrive at Uji Station, exit the station and turn left. You will see a sign for Uji Park. Walk straight for about 10 minutes; the park entrance will be on your right.

Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus #28 towards Uji. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Uji Shiyakusho-mae' stop. After getting off, walk south for about 5 minutes, and you will see Uji Park on your left.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Kyoto Station. Head towards the Keihan Uji Line and follow the signs towards Uji. The distance is about 13 km, so it may take around 45 minutes to an hour. Follow the main road until you reach Uji Park, which sits along the river.
