Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you're near Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Kawaramachi Station. From Kawaramachi Station, exit at the 1A exit. Walk south along Shijo Street, then turn left onto Yasaka-dori Street. Continue walking until you reach Yasaka Kōshin-dō Temple, which will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are in the Gion area, you can easily walk to Yasaka Kōshin-dō Temple. Head towards Shijo Avenue and walk east until you reach Yasaka Shrine. Continue walking past the shrine, and the temple will be a short walk further down on the left side of Kinencho Street.

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take Kyoto City Bus number 100 or 206. Get off at the Gion bus stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Head east along Shijo Avenue, turn left onto Yasaka-dori Street, and continue until you reach Yasaka Kōshin-dō Temple.
