    Car

    If you are driving from Fukuoka, take the Kyushu Expressway (E3) southbound towards Kumamoto. After approximately 100 km, take the exit towards Aso, and follow the Route 57 signs. Continue on Route 57 for about 30 km until you reach the Aso District. Look for signs indicating attractions in the area, and you will find various parking options available.

    To reach Aso District by train, start at Hakata Station in Fukuoka. Take the Hōhi Main Line (JR) towards Kumamoto, which takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Kumamoto Station, transfer to the 'Kumamoto City Tram' to the 'Kumamoto Castle' stop, then walk to the bus terminal. From there, take a bus bound for Aso (approximately 1 hour). The bus will drop you off at the Aso area, where you can explore the district.

    If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take a direct highway bus from Fukuoka to Aso. Buses depart from Tenjin Bus Center regularly throughout the day. The journey takes about 2.5 hours.
