Car
If you are driving, enter the following address into your GPS: 3-16 Shukumachi, Nagasaki, 851-0121. From Fukuoka, take the Kyushu Expressway (E3) and follow the signs for Nagasaki. Once you reach Nagasaki City, take Route 34 towards the city center. After passing Nagasaki Peace Park, continue straight until you reach the aquarium. There is parking available at the aquarium, but it may incur a small fee, so have some change ready.
Train and Bus
If you are using public transportation, take the Shinkansen (bullet train) from major cities like Fukuoka to Nagasaki Station. From Nagasaki Station, take the Nagasaki City Tram Line (Line 1) to the 'Shikimi-cho' stop. After disembarking, transfer to Bus No. 3 or No. 5 towards 'Kankōdōri' and get off at the 'Penguin Aquarium' bus stop. The total fare for the train and bus will be around 2,500 to 3,000 yen, depending on the train type.
Local Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Nagasaki Station. This option is convenient, especially if you're traveling with luggage or prefer a hassle-free journey. The taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes and cost around 2,500 yen.
