Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Fukuoka City. Take the Kyushu Expressway (E3) heading towards Kumamoto. Exit at the Ukiha IC and follow the signs for Ukiha. Drive for about 15 minutes, and you'll reach Ukiha Inari Shrine located at 1513-9 Ukihamachi Nagarekawa, Ukiha, Fukuoka 839-1411. There is free parking available at the shrine.
Train
To reach Ukiha Inari Shrine by train, start from Hakata Station in Fukuoka City. Take the JR Kagoshima Main Line to Chikugo-Funaguchi Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. From Chikugo-Funaguchi Station, take a taxi to Ukiha Inari Shrine, which is about a 15-minute drive. The taxi fare should be approximately 2,000 yen.
Bus
If you prefer using the bus, from Fukuoka City, take the Nishitetsu Bus bound for Ukiha. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get off at the Ukiha bus stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Ukiha Inari Shrine. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as there are limited services.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous travelers, consider cycling to Ukiha Inari Shrine. If you're starting from Fukuoka City, it's approximately 40 kilometers away. You can take Route 3 or the scenic backroads. The ride will take around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. There are bike rental shops in Fukuoka City if you don't have your own bike.
