Getting There

    If you're driving from central Nagato, take Route 191 towards Yamaguchi. Continue for about 15 kilometers (approx. 20 minutes). Once you reach the junction with Route 2, turn left onto Route 2 towards Yamaguchi city. After about 5 kilometers, look for signs indicating Rurikoji Temple (Rurikoji) and turn right onto Kozancho. The temple is located at 7-1 Kozancho, which will be on your left. There is a parking area available for visitors.

    From Nagato Station, take the JR San'in Line towards Shin-Yamaguchi Station. Get off at Yamaguchi Station (approximately 30 minutes). From Yamaguchi Station, take the bus bound for Rurikoji Temple (Rurikoji) which departs from the bus terminal adjacent to the station. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the Rurikoji Temple bus stop. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop.
