    If you're traveling by car from Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Kintetsu Nara Station to Yamato-Saidaiji Station. From there, switch to the JR Yamatoji Line and head towards Osaka. Get off at Osaka Station. The drive typically takes around 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Once at Osaka Station, follow the signs to the Osaka Loop Line and take the train towards Kyobashi. Get off at Osakajokoen Station. From there, it's a short 15-minute walk to Osaka Castle.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Osaka Castle from Nara using public transportation, start at Kintetsu Nara Station. Take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Yamato-Saidaiji Station. Transfer to the JR Yamatoji Line and travel to Osaka Station. This journey will take approximately 1 hour and may cost around 1,500 yen one way. At Osaka Station, transfer to the Osaka Loop Line and take the train towards Kyobashi. Disembark at Osakajokoen Station.
