    Getting There

    Bus

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. Once at Kyoto Station, head to the bus terminal located on the first floor. Look for bus number 206 or 100, which goes directly to 'Gion' or 'Higashiyama' area. Get off at the 'Gion' stop. From there, Maruyama Park is a 10-minute walk. Head east on Shijo-dori, then turn left onto Hanamikoji-dori. Continue straight until you reach Maruyama Park.

    Train and Walk

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. Get off at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. Once you exit the station, walk towards Sanjo-dori street and turn left. Follow Sanjo-dori until you reach the intersection with Shijo-dori, then turn right. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Maruyama Park, which will be on your left.

    Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Nara to Maruyama Park. Just inform the driver to take you to 'Maruyamacho, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto'. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
