    Getting There

    Bus

    From Nara Park, walk to the Nara Kintetsu Station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Once at the station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, transfer to the City Bus #100 or #206 towards 'Nanzenji Eikando-michi'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Nanzenji Eikando-michi' stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes south on Nanzenji Kusakawacho street to reach Murinan Garden.

    Train and Walk

    Start at Nara Station. Take the JR Yamatoji Line to Kyoto Station (around 45 minutes). At Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kyoto Subway Karasuma Line and ride to Karasuma Oike Station. Change to the Tozai Line and get off at the 'Nanzenji Eikando' Station. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to Murinan Garden. Head south on Nanzenji Kusakawacho street.
