Getting There

    If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the City Bus #100 or #206 from the bus terminal located outside the station. Get off at the 'Okazaki Koen / Bijutsukan' stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Okazaki Park. Just head east on Okazaki Saishojicho street, and the park will be on your left.

  • Subway

    From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line to Karasuma Oike Station. Transfer to the Tozai Line and head towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Get off at the 'Keage' station. Exit the station and walk east for about 10 minutes along the road. You will reach Okazaki Park at the end of the road, just past the Kyoto City Zoo.

    If you are near the Heian Shrine, you can easily walk to Okazaki Park. From the Heian Shrine, exit the main gate and turn right to follow the road. Continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Okazaki Park right in front of you as you approach the intersection.

    If you have rented a bicycle, you can cycle to Okazaki Park from central Kyoto. Head north towards the Philosopher's Path, then turn right at the intersection to go towards Okazaki. The park has bike racks available for parking. It should take you around 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.
