Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Yamato-Saidaiji. After approximately 40 minutes, transfer at Yamato-Saidaiji Station to the Kintetsu Kashihara Line towards Kashihara-Jingu-mae. Get off at Moriyama Station (total travel time about 1 hour). From Moriyama Station, exit the station and walk northeast for about 15 minutes; follow the signs to Sagawa Art Museum, located at 2891-44 Mizuhocho.
Bus
From Nara Park, walk to the nearest bus stop at Nara Koen (Nara Park). Take the Kintetsu Bus bound for Moriyama (approximately 50 minutes). Get off at the Mizuhocho Bus Stop. From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes to Sagawa Art Museum, following the directions to 2891-44 Mizuhocho.
Bicycle
If you have access to a rental bike in Nara, head towards the Nara National Museum and continue on the path along the river towards Moriyama. The route is approximately 12 km and should take around 45 minutes to an hour. Follow the signs to Mizuhocho and arrive at Sagawa Art Museum located at 2891-44 Mizuhocho.
Walking
If you are near Nara Park, head towards the Naramachi District and follow the main road towards Moriyama. It is a long walk of approximately 13 km, which will take about 2.5 hours. Walk along the pathways, enjoying the scenic views, and follow the directional signs to your destination, Sagawa Art Museum at 2891-44 Mizuhocho.
