Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the center of Omi and head north on Route 19. Continue for approximately 30 minutes until you reach Matsumoto. Once in Matsumoto, follow the signs for Fukashi Shrine. Turn onto Fukashi Street (Fukashi-dori) and continue until you see the shrine on your left at 3 Chome-7-43. There is limited parking available near the shrine.

    To reach Fukashijinjahaiden by public transportation, take the JR Chuo Line train from Omi Station to Matsumoto Station. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Matsumoto Station, exit the station and walk to the Matsumoto Bus Terminal located nearby. Take the local bus that goes towards Fukashi Shrine. The bus ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Fukashi Shrine stop, and the shrine will be just a short walk from the bus stop, located at 3 Chome-7-43.
