From Demachi-Yanagi Station on the Keihan Line or Eizan Electric Railway, it's approximately a 15-minute walk north to Shimogamo Shrine. Follow the main road north, and you'll see signs directing you to the shrine. The path leads you through the Tadasu no Mori forest, creating a pleasant approach. Admission to the shrine is free.

From Kyoto Station, take Kyoto City Bus number 4 or 205 to the Shimogamo Jinja-mae or Tadasu no Mori-mae bus stop. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes, and the fare is ¥230. From the bus stop, it's a short 3-minute walk to the shrine entrance.
