From any location in Chuo, make your way to the nearest subway station, which is likely to be Sapporo Station (札幌駅). Take the Tozai Line (東西線) toward Shin-Sapporo Station (新さっぽろ駅). After approximately 8 minutes, get off at the Nishi 28-chome Station (西28丁目駅). Upon exiting the station, head towards the east exit and walk straight for about 12 minutes to reach Asahiyama Memorial Park. You will pass through residential areas, and the park will be on your left at the address 4 Chome-1-3 Sakaigawa, Chuo Ward, Sapporo.

If you prefer taking a bus, from Sapporo Station (札幌駅), walk to the bus terminal adjacent to the station. Look for the bus stop for routes heading towards Asahiyama Memorial Park. Take bus number 18 or 19, which will take approximately 20 minutes. Alight at the 'Asahiyama Koen' (旭山公園) stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the park entrance. You can purchase a bus ticket from the machine at the bus stop; a one-way ticket will cost around 220 yen.
