Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Osaka or Kobe, take a highway bus to Awaji Island. Several bus routes connect major transportation hubs like Osaka Station, Namba Station, Sannomiya Station, and Shin-Kobe Station to Nijigen no Mori. From Sannomiya Bus Terminal, the Kita-Awaji Nishi-Kaigan Line will take you directly to Nijigen no Mori. Alternatively, take a bus to Awaji IC, where a free shuttle bus will take you to Nijigen no Mori. Bus fares from Osaka or Kobe to Awaji Island typically range from ¥1,000 to ¥2,500. The free shuttle bus from Awaji IC to Nijigen no Mori is included with your park admission.

  • Car

    Nijigen no Mori is accessible via the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway. From Osaka or Kobe, follow the expressway to the Awaji IC. From Awaji IC, follow the signs to Nijigen no Mori. The park has ample free parking with over 1500 spaces. Toll fees on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway vary depending on the distance traveled. Expect to pay around ¥1,000 to ¥3,000 in tolls.
