Getting There

Car
From the center of Shinano, head north on Route 18. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection at Kamiminochi. Turn left onto Route 292, heading towards Madarao. Drive for another 5 kilometers, and you will see signs for Mt. Madarao. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the parking area for the scenic spot.

From Shinano Station, take the local bus bound for Madarao. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Madarao Kogen bus stop. From there, follow the signs towards Mt.
