Follow the signs towards Nasukawacho. After approximately 15 minutes of driving, you will arrive at Hōonji Temple, located at 31-5 Nasukawacho, Morioka, Iwate 020-0016. There is parking available near the temple.

Train and Walk
For those using public transportation, take the Tohoku Shinkansen (bullet train) to Morioka Station. Upon arrival at Morioka Station, exit and look for the local bus terminal. Board the 'Nasukawa' bus, which takes you directly to the Nasukawacho area. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Hōonji Temple' stop, and from there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the temple.
