Car
If you're driving, start on the Tohoku Expressway. Head towards Miyagi Prefecture and take the Kesennuma IC exit. Follow Route 45 towards Kesennuma City. Once in Kesennuma, follow the signs to Akaiwamakisawa. The Rias Ark Museum is located at 138-5 Akaiwamakisawa, Kesennuma, Miyagi 988-0171. Parking is available at the museum.
Public Transportation
For public transport, take the JR Tohoku Line to Kesennuma Station. From there, take a local bus (Kesen Line) to Akaiwamakisawa. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes, and you should check the bus schedule in advance as it may not run frequently. After getting off at the Akaiwamakisawa stop, it’s a short walk to the museum, following the signs towards Rias Ark Museum.
