Getting There

    Start your journey at Tokyo Station. Take the JR Tokaido Line towards Atami. You will need to ride this train for approximately 50 minutes until you reach Kamakura Station. Once you arrive at Kamakura Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. From there, you can either walk or take a bus to your destination.

    From Kamakura Station, you can take the Bus No. 23, which goes towards Zaimokuza Beach. Get off at the Komachi-dori stop. From the bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to Hokai-ji. Walk down Komachi Street, and Hokai-ji will be on your right at 3 Chome-5-22.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from Kamakura Station, exit the station and head towards Komachi Street. This is a popular shopping street filled with various shops and cafes. Continue walking straight on Komachi Street for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Hokai-ji, which is located at 3 Chome-5-22 on your right.
