Getting There

  • Train

    From Tokyo Station, take the JR Tokaido Line (also referred to as the JR East line) towards Yokohama. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes, and trains run frequently. Disembark at Yokohama Station. Once at Yokohama Station, follow the signs to the East Exit.

  • Walking

    After exiting Yokohama Station, head towards the west along the main road, which is called 'Sakuragicho'. Continue walking until you reach the waterfront area. The walk is around 15-20 minutes and will take you through the vibrant streets of Yokohama.

  • Public Transportation

    Alternatively, from Yokohama Station, you can take the Minato Mirai Line from the nearby Sakuragicho Station (which you can access by walking a short distance). Board a train heading towards Motomachi-Chukagai Station, and disembark at the next stop, which is 'Nihon-Odori'. From Nihon-Odori Station, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Port of Yokohama.

  • Bus

    If you prefer, you can also take a bus from Yokohama Station. Look for the bus stops near the East Exit and catch a bus heading towards the 'Osanbashi Pier' or 'Yamashita Park'. The bus journey may take around 15 minutes, and you will be dropped off very close to the Port of Yokohama.
